2017 general elections (first round): vote of the French established outside France
Description
**The first round of parliamentary elections was held on 3/4 June 2017** in the [11 French constituencies outside France](http://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/en/services-aux-citoyens/droit-de-vote-et-elections-a-l-etranger/elections-legislatives-circonscriptions-et-professions-de-foi-des-candidats/).
717 polling stations were open. The overall turnout is 19.1%.
The results were announced by the Election Commission which met on 5 June 2017.
_For the record, French people living abroad vote a week in advance in order to facilitate the delivery of electoral material to voters for the second round._
