Young people with youth care and youth care pathways; neighborhoods, 2015
Description
This table contains figures on the number of young people who received youth care (youth assistance, youth protection and/or probation) in 2015 and the number of pathways in which this youth care was provided. The data on young people are broken down by age and the composition of the household at the start of care. The youth care programs are divided according to perspective and referrer. The data is also broken down by municipality and district.
The classification by municipality and district is based on the address of the young person’s authority. The residence principle as applied in the Youth Act which entered into force from 2015 onwards was based on the principle of residence. When the address has been changed during the reporting period, the youngest is assigned the most recent address in this table.
Data available from: 2015. Figures by municipality and district will appear in a new table every year. Figures for 2016 can be found via the link ‘Tables Youth Care after 1-1-2015’ in paragraph 3.

Changes as of 20 January 2017:
A small improvement has been made for the number of youth care projects per district and per municipality. The figures on the number of young people remain unchanged. Due to the calculation of data at district level, a small part of the trajectories without a postcode were assigned to a municipality in a slightly different way as in the other tables on Youth Policy Information. That’s right now. The differences are minimal.
Changes as at 31 October 2016:
The already definitive figures for the first quarter of 2015 and for the first half of 2015 have been replaced by revised figures. The most important part of this revision is a change in the way trajectories are dedoubled when collecting the data for the two half-years within one calendar year. A smaller impact in the revision is accounted for by some subsequent information for the second half of 2015, which sometimes had a small impact on the figures for the first half of 2015.
When will there be new figures?
None, this table has been discontinued. Figures for 2016 have been published in a new table. This can be found via the link “Tables Youth Care after 1-1-2015” in section 3.
