Profile of People under Correctional Supervision

These datasets contain information about all individuals who were under correctional supervision in Ontario for any duration during the reporting year including those under custodial, community, or both types of supervision. The datasets include demographic information, correctional alerts, supervision type, and, for inmates, an indicator of whether the inmate was involved in a use-of-force incident in which force was applied to the inmate. Additionally, these datasets contain individuals’ consent statuses for the use of their race- and identity-based data for purposes of the Anti-Racism Act, 2017 (ARA). Where consent was granted, responses relating to Indigenous identity, ethnic origin, race, and religion are included. Note: Resources on this page may be updated periodically.
