French education abroad: instilling a new dynamic
Description
French education abroad has a network that is unique in the world, both in terms of its size, its diversity and the excellence of its results. Faced with increasing competition in the global education market, however, it is struggling to evolve. The absence of ambitious decisions would condemn it to uncertainty, or even to a slow decline, both because of ever-decreasing public funds, family solvency that is not without limits and expenditure that is inherently dynamic. In this context, the management of human resources by the Agency for French Education Abroad is a crucial issue. In a report requested by the Senate Finance Committee, the Court makes eight recommendations to initiate the changes essential to the future of this network.
