## Content
Data extracted from geodesy sheets *“in an open standard, easily reusable and usable by an automated processing system”* (unfortunately only available as a PDF file on the geodesie.ign.fr website).
The Base network has just under 3,000 terminals and landmarks grouped on just over a thousand sites.
The Detail network has just over 115,000 terminals and markers grouped on more than 64,000 sites.

The CSV version contains the same information but denormalised. The CSV file of the Base+ Detail network is gzipped (6 MB, 48 MB uncompressed).
## Extraction
The scripts used to extract this data are available on github: https://github.com/cquest/geodesie2data
Since the extraction of the data contained in the PDF files is not trivial, **errors may be present**, please report them to https://github.com/cquest/geodesie2data/issues in order to correct the extraction scripts.

The IGN also confirmed that these data were under [**Open License**](https://www.etalab.gouv.fr/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Licence_Ouverte.pdf).
If you reuse them do not forget to indicate “source IGN/geodesie.ign.fr” as well as the date of extraction because it is data that evolves over time.
