Young people with youth care and youth care programmes in kind; neighborhoods, 2018
Description
This table contains figures on the number of young people who received youth care in kind in 2018 (youth assistance in kind, youth protection and/or youth probation) and the number of pathways in which this youth care was provided in kind. The data on young people are broken down by age and household composition on 1 January of the year in question. The youth care pathways in kind are divided according to perspective (see the second last paragraph in section 4 Sources and methods) and referrer. The data is also broken down by municipality and district.
The classification by municipality and district is based on the address of the young person’s authority. The residence principle as applied in the Youth Act which entered into force from 2015 onwards was based on the principle of residence. When the address has been changed during the reporting period, the youngest is assigned the most recent address in this table.
The addition of the number of young people over multiple forms of youth care within a (sub)total can be greater than the (sub)total itself. A young person can have multiple pathways with different forms of youth care, but with each form of care or (sub)total a young person only counts once.
Data available for 2018. Figures by municipality and district will appear in a new table every year. Figures for other years since 2015 can be found via the link ‘Tables Youth Care after 1-1-2015’ in section 3.
Section 4 provides more information on matters affecting the comparability over time of the figures in this table.
