Declarations of interests of parliamentarians published by the High Authority for Transparency
Description
Since the promulgation of the law on the transparency of public life, parliamentarians must declare their interests to the High Authority for the Transparency of Public Life, which is responsible for monitoring them and making them public so that each citizen can assess the possible risks of conflicts of interest of their representatives. Ancillary activities, external remuneration, other mandates, names and activities of staff, etc. All this information is filled in by hand by parliamentarians in the forms published by the High Authority: http://www.hatvp.fr/consult-les-declarations-recher.html
In order to allow everyone to explore this information in OpenData, Regards Citoyens has proposed a crowdsourcing interface to digitise all declarations in one week thanks to the participation of nearly 8000 people: http://www.regardscitoyens.org/8000-people-free-in-a-week-the-handwritten-declarations-interests-of-parliamentarians/
