Description

Supplementary Retirement Institution of Non-Titular Agents of the State and Public Communities. The Ircantec scheme applies on the one hand to employees of employers falling within the scope, on the other hand to elected representatives of local and regional authorities. Pensioners are persons who receive an old-age or invalidity pension under own or secondary law. The same person may benefit from several pension allowances paid under the same scheme: for example, a pensioner from the Ircantec who receives a pension in respect of his past activity as an employee and his former elected office. These people receiving two pensioners from the same scheme are few. Note that they are counted as several retirees since each pensioner is associated with a single right. The number of retirees corresponds to the number of pension allowances paid by 31 December, excluding single lump sum payments (otherwise called single capital).
