### **Geotechnical surveys conducted by the Société du Grand Paris:** In order to better understand the characteristics of the land and to predict the sizing of the infrastructure, the Société du Grand Paris has been conducting a soil reconnaissance campaign throughout the route since 2012. These surveys are absolutely essential in order to: - position the structures according to local geological specificities, - define the appropriate constructive methods, - prepare the disposal of the spoil and its treatment, - ensure the preservation of water resources. The data presented here relate specifically to **the geotechnical soundings of line 15 south**. The database on geotechnical surveys is organised in two files: - L15S_-_Geology_-_BDD_location (csv/xlsx): geographical location, depth of sounding and type of sounding - L15S_-_Geology_-_BDD_facies (csv/xlsx): survey facies Each survey is identified by an identifier "_**Survey reference**_" which makes it possible to make the link between the two files. Line 15 Sud is a bypass line that serves 22 municipalities in the departments of Hauts-de-Seine, Val-de-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis and Seine-et-Marne.
