REDIAM. WMS HIC 5330-5 Mediterranean Thermophilic and Xerophilic Thymeillars
Description
WMS Service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 5330-5. Corresponded to camephitic scrub formations typical of Mediterranean thermophilic and xerophilic media. The tomillares usually represent very advanced stages of substitution of the climatic formations of the territory, constituting in many occasions fundamental primocolonizing communities to avoid soil erosion. In addition, these formations are of great interest, given the high proportion of endemic taxa that appear among their components. Regarding the fauna, they are enclaves of great interest as habitat of reptiles and invertebrates. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
