Human medicines covered by public health insurance in the Slovak Republic according to the ATC drug group, diagnosis and sex of the insured person 2017
Description
The statistical outputs provide a detailed overview of the consumption of prescribed human medicines in the territory of the Slovak Republic, approved by the competent health insurance company within the framework of the provision of healthcare according to the ATC group, diagnosis and sex of the insured person. They are thus an important support source for analysing data on drug consumption. Methodological differences in the collection and processing of the data of the above-mentioned source do not allow a relevant comparison of the outputs with the outputs of statistical surveys L (MZ SR) 1-04 and L (MZ SR) 2-04, which are a comprehensive picture of the consumption of medicines in Slovakia and are a source of international comparisons.
