Distribution of adults with disabilities by functional impairments and disability group

Description

Selected information on adult persons with disabilities for whom a decision of the State Medical Commission for the Assessment of Health Condition and Working Ability (VDEĀVK) on a specific disability is in force during the reporting period. Statistical data is obtained from the welfare information system LabIS. The age of a person shall be determined by the end of the reference period or by the date of death of the person. A person may have several groups of disability at the same time. One person may have several functional disorders at the same time. Persons of legal age with disabilities together – persons for whom a decision of the VDEĀVK is in force during the reporting period. Group 1 – Adults with group 1 disability, for whom a decision of the VDEĀVK is in force during the reporting period. Group 2 – Adults with group 2 disability, for whom the decision of the VDEĀVK is in force during the reporting period. Group 3 – Adults with group 3 disability, for whom the decision of the VDEĀVK is in force during the reporting period. Visual functional disorders – persons with disabilities who, during the reporting period, have a positive decision of the VDEĀVK, the basic diagnosis of which is related to visual disorders. Hearing functional disorders – persons with disabilities who, during the reporting period, have a positive decision of the VDEĀVK, the basic diagnosis of which is related to hearing disorders. Functional disorders of movement – persons with disabilities, for whom during the reporting period a positive decision of the VDEĀVK is in force, the basic diagnosis of which is related to movement disorders. Mental and behavioural functional disorders – persons with disabilities who, during the reporting period, have a positive decision of the VDEĀVK, the basic diagnosis of which is related to mental and behavioural disorders. Other functional impairments/types of impairments are not indicated – persons with disabilities who have a positive decision of VDEĀVK in the reporting period, the basic diagnosis of which is related to other impairments or their type is not indicated.
