Description
DESCRIPTION
Available data consist of annual concentrations of sulphur and nitrogen compounds and various measurements of ground-level ozone. Deposition includes sulphur and nitrogen compounds as well as base cations. Data is produced within the framework of national environmental monitoring financed by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. The data is presented with a resolution of about 20*20 kilometres.
Air concentrations are presented as totals and divided into the Swedish and non-Swedish emission contributions to the current level. Deposition data is allocated to total, dry and wet deposition. Sweden’s contribution to the deposit is reported separately. The dry deposition to deciduous forest, water, spruce forest and field is also reported.
Data is available from 1998 onwards, with some exceptions. Ground-level ozone is available from 2013. The results have been produced using different methods different years and are therefore not fully comparable.

Data covers Sweden’s land areas.
The grid panes are 0.2°*0.2°, about 20*20 km
USE
Data is currently used as input data for dissemination calculations (regional background), for monitoring in environmental monitoring air, for calculations of critical pressures on certain ecosystems and as input data in various research projects.
