Maritime Sector Plan

Description

The new Maritime Sectoral Plans entered into force on 1.1.2014 (Plans of 15.8.13 / RRB of 28.8.2013). The technical plans define important framework conditions for maritime transport and, in particular, the spatial outlines for boat stationing. The plan covers the Bernese parts of Lakes Biel and Neuchâtel, the Zihl Canal between Lakes Neuchâtel and Biel, and the Nidau-Büren Canal between Lake Biel and the Port and Zihl locks. Attention: the data in the information levels are the frozen time at the time of approval of the Maritime Sectoral Plan on 15.8.2013, for other uses these data are obsolete (levels 'Notes Archaeology', 'Non-Driving Zones', 'Port and Shipyard Facilities', 'Course Shipping Routes', 'Lawning Areas', 'Nature Priority Areas', 'Water and Migratory Bird Reserves').
