Description
As a result of the annual orders of the State of Baden-Württemberg, the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Development receives aerial photographs, which are the basis for the production of orthophotos. Orthophotos represent the Earth’s surface with the accuracy of a map true to reality. Unlike the map, the orthophoto is not generalised and thus contains the detailed information that is important for almost all planning purposes. Distortion-free and geocoded, digital orthophotos are suitable as an information layer in Geographical Information Systems and CAD applications. Coordinate circumference: 2D units of horizontal coordinates: Meters, even cartographically. Suitable for GPS applications: Transformation forms are present, but the supplier does not perform the conversion from cartographic to geographical coordinates. Equalised aerial images, ground resolution usually from 20 cm, isolated higher resolution, annual flow of about 50 % of the land area, division of territory according to the needs of users, True DOP in RGBI.
