Natural monuments (WMS Service)
Description
In the case of natural monuments/area natural monuments in the sense of 'cultural goods', the focus is placed on those ND/FND whose genesis is conditioned by anthropogenic factors. Paragraph 21(1)(1) of the SächNatSchG lists, inter alia, regional or cultural reasons as criteria for granting protection. Natural monuments or area natural monuments, the origin of which is due to human activity, include certain forms of fresh meadows and dry grasslands, abandoned quarries / sediment deposits and former mine tunnels.
Currently, a total of 112 ND/FND with a total area of about 140 ha are recorded in Dresden.
