VA 2 - Access to the Driving Fitness Register (FAER)

Description

The basis of statistics VA 2 - Access to the Driving Fitness Register (FAER) is that in a calendar year (1 January to 31 January). (December) total amount of traffic incident reports received by FAER. The statistics for VA 2 are a full survey. Until the reporting year 2016, the statistics were based on a sample survey followed by extrapolation. The evaluations of the data in the context of statistics VA 2 provide insights and information on traffic problems in road traffic. The analysis of traffic violations in the context of official statistics provides important basic material for traffic safety research and for transport policy decisions as an analysis of mass phenomena. Key elements of the analysis are the traffic violations reported to FAER.
