Car-2-X WLANp Road Side Unit RSSI

Description

The data set provides the expected signal strengths (RSSI) of Car-2-X communication infrastructure (WLANp standard), placed at accident focal points with car participation from 2018 (data from accident atlas). With the .geojson files it is possible to place a Road Side Unit (RSU) at accident sites and thus estimate whether the accident partners with Car-2-X communication would have had sufficient radio signal strength to exchange messages and thus possibly could have prevented a collision. Furthermore, it is possible for municipalities and infrastructure managers to make an estimate of radio propagation if they equip these places with road side units.
