Data of the target timetable Deutschlandtakt in the format railML TT The data set contains the train journeys of long-distance rail passenger transport (SPFV), local rail passenger transport (SPNV) and rail freight transport (SGV) from the third and final draft reviewer in the target timetable Deutschlandtakt (further information under https://www.deutschlandtakt.de/). These timetable data are provided in the open format railML TT 2.2 (see https://www.railml.org/). The Deutschlandtakt is the planning basis for a needs-based expansion and optimal use of the rail infrastructure on the basis of an integral cycle timetable with systematized paths for all modes of transport. The aim is to expand the federal railway lines for a nationwide networked, fast, reliable, frequently circulating offer with optimal connections for rail passenger transport and with demand-oriented capacities for extended rail freight transport with shorter transport times. The German cycle is therefore a compass and a continuous planning basis for the infrastructural development of the German railway network. The target timetable Deutschlandtakt is based on an integral timetable for passenger transport with optimal connections for the entire range of services from high-speed to regional trains on the longest European rail network. The target timetable is supply-oriented and thus creates the basis for the targeted doubling of the number of passengers. At the same time, the Deutschlandtakt takes into account on an equal footing the line capacity required for growing freight traffic.
