Variations in abundances of different species of vascular flora between plots in the IGN forest inventory
Description
These data come from the forest inventory. They were selected on the basis of geographical constraints (Alps and Jura), temporal constraints, and the species composition of the plots (to represent only the tree-pessieres). Species abundance is recorded on a class scale, following a method similar to that of Braun-Blanquet. Different ecological variables are provided. These data were used to relate the abundance of these species to different dendrometric descriptors as well as ecological gradients. The scientists involved in this work are: Frédéric Gosselin, Basile Herpigny and Christophe Zilliox.
