Start-up aid for young farmers - 2013 and 2014
Description
Lorient Agglomeration has chosen to support the establishment of new farmers on its territory. To encourage them, it has put in place a specific mechanism to reduce the burden of taking over a farm and to help with installation. In order to benefit from this aid of a flat-rate amount of EUR 2 000, farmers must be candidates for the first installation in agriculture (breeding or cultivation), set up as head of the holding and be 40 years of age or less.
Lorient Agglomeration has entrusted the investigation of the files to the Chamber of Agriculture of Morbihan. Over two years, 24 young farmers in the municipalities of Bubry, Caudan, Cléguer, Guidel, Inzinzac Lochrist,Languidic, Lanvaudan, locmiquélic, Plouay, Plœmeur, Pont-Scorff, Quéven and Quistinic were selected to receive this aid, which supplements the aid paid by Europe and the State.
