This dataset is taken from **chapter 1** of the Defence Statistical Yearbook 2014/2015** (**Ministry of Defence — Defence Economic Observatory**) and presents the place of defence in the national economy through some macroeconomic data such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), public expenditure and employment.
