Local public finances 2015
Description
On 13 October 2015, the Court of Auditors published a report on local public finances, the result of joint work with the regional chambers of accounts, on the financial situation and management of local and regional authorities and their public institutions. Local government (Apul) accounts for 20 % of expenditure and 9 % of public debt. They are concerned by the fulfilment of France’s European commitments with a view to the adjustment of its public accounts.
