Health monitor; population 19 years or older, region, 2016
Description
The Health Monitor is carried out once every four years and provides information about the health, social situation and lifestyle of the Dutch population aged 19 or older living in private households. The figures can be broken down by age group and by GGD region and (as of November 2017) also by municipality. The figures are provided with confidence intervals. This research is a collaboration between GGD-en, RIVM and CBS.
The table does not show all the results of the Health Monitor. Only topics on which both CBS and the GGD and information have been collected are included. Information on topics on which only the GGD and information have been collected can be found in section 5 of this explanatory memorandum.
These Health Monitor figures cannot be compared with figures from the CBS Health Survey, because there are methodological differences between the two studies. The Health Monitor (once every 4 years) provides insight into national, regional and local figures and focuses on the population of 19 years or older. The CBS Health Survey provides annual, national figures and focuses on the population of all ages.

The figures in this table are final.
Changes as of 22 November 2018
The table has been extended with figures on compliance with the Moving Directive. The Moving Directive was drafted by the Health Council at the end of 2017. This new guideline replaces the Dutch Healthy Moving Standard, the fit standard and the combi standard. However, the figures on those old standards remain included in this table.
