Description

Danish place names contain about 120,000 Danish place names. Of these, approximately 25,000 are authorised by the Ministry of Culture (Place Names Committee). Resource purpose: Danish Place Names (DS) serve as a common reference used across management areas and sectors. Place names ensure a better localisation of events and a more accurate communication.
