Passenger numbers VBZ

Description

This data includes **calculated annual values** for the boarding and disembarking passengers at the stops, as well as for the occupation in the vehicles of the Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ). The data provided here are **calculated averages** of individual timetable journeys, **not** are **permanently measured values** from all vehicles. **Frequency survey** is carried out in **vehicles with a counting device**, approximately **20% of vehicles** of the VBZ are equipped accordingly. There is a **shift by day type**, which is ** extrapolated** to daily or period sums. If a scheduled journey has not been measured on a day type, **interpolates the counting system** from the adjacent journeys. The tables ***HALTESTELLE.csv***, ***LINIE.csv***, ***TAGTYP.csv*** and ***GEFAESSGROESSE.csv**** are matching tables to the main passenger count file named ***REISENDE.csv***.
