15079 — Verification of residence permits by employers
Description
Since 1 July 2007, employers are obliged to check with the administration the administrative situation of foreigners applying for employment (article L. 5221-8 of the Labour Code).
After six years of implementation, the metropolis prefectures were seized at 3,527,028 times allowing the detection of 31,325 false documents (0.89 %).
