15057 — Resident cards issued for the first time (after another residence permit or not) to French spouses or parents of French children
Description
Residence cards issued for family reasons: with the exception of those granted under family reunification (relatively stable), the cards provided for the parents of French children and
French spouses increase very strongly: these increases largely offset the decrease in the issuance figures of resident cards issued as the first title. This observation also accredits the correlation between the phenomenon of decreasing statistics for the granting of resident cards issued as the first title and the legislative evolution of the Aliens’ Code of recent years.
This correlation is also confirmed by the observation of older issuance figures.
