Description
The Maghreb represents the third bloc with a strong predominance of visas issued to Moroccan (230,698) and Algerian nationals (196,501).
The Middle East is the fourth block with a significant recovery (+ 8.4 %) following the slight decline observed in 2012 compared to 2011 (-1.4 %).
The African continent, which is in fifth place, is also experiencing an increase in the number of visas issued (confirming the increase observed in 2011 and 2012) with 298 750 visas issued in 2013 compared to 281,099 in 2012 (+ 6 %).
The North America and Latin America-Caribbean regions are in the penultimate position due to the short-stay visa waiver for many countries in the American continent: USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, etc.
