Description

Referential of the main clauses used in the GTU with proposal of variants In 2012, I carried out a first repository of the ''personal data'' clauses of the GTU as part of a research project for a client. This analysis of the DP clauses of the GCU of the main digital services available on the Internet had enabled me to establish a reference framework of the 13 clauses most regularly considered. I was also able to propose a classification of the privacy strategies of service providers on three levels of clause variants, from the most respectful of user rights to the most permissive in terms of authorisations granted to the operator. As part of a Legal Hackathon Open Law conducted in March and April 2015, in order to compare this repository with more GCUs, to update it on the evolutions of the pre-analyzed GCUs and to evaluate the privacy terms/data strategy of the main digital services used in 2015, I asked my students of the DIU Informatique et Droit and the Master 2 Droit du Numérique of the Sorbonne droti School to select GCUs and categorize them in the repository of data clauses.Here is the ''raw'' result of this work of collection and categorization: -Main digital services used by students: https://github.com/M2DroitNumerique/audit_CGU -Digital services for lawyers (IT IUD and law): https://github.com/DIUIDEI/DIU-Droit-et-Informatique After analyzing the collected data and on the basis of some proposals of the students, I proceeded to an evolution of the draft repository. Then I made an alignment of the repository with the one developed by Hugo Roy and the TOS;DR community on the American CGU: https://tosdr.org/topics.html#topics This alignment allowed me once again to enrich the repository and refine the proposed variables.
