Social/Health - Income and monetary poverty of households
Description
Main indicators on income (distribution and structure) and poverty. indicators from the Filosofi database (Localised Social and Fiscal File): Use of comprehensive tax data from the DGFiP (declarations of income of natural persons, housing tax and tax file of natural persons) and comprehensive data on social benefits from the National Family Allowance Fund (Cnaf), the National Old Age Insurance Fund (Cnav) and the Central Agricultural Social Mutual Fund (CCMSA).
The Localized Social and Fiscal File (FiLoSoFi) device replaces the Localized Tax Revenue (RFL) and Localized Available Revenue (RDL) devices.
Indicators given according to consumption units: A weighting system that assigns a coefficient to each member of the household and makes it possible to compare the living standards of households of different sizes or compositions. With this weighting, the number of people is reduced to a number of consumption units (CU).
The currently most widely used scale (known as the OECD scale) uses the following weighting:
- 1 CU for the first adult in the household;
- 0.5 UC for other persons 14 years of age or older;
- 0.3 UC for children under 14 years of age.
