Modal Split in Hamburg

Description

The route-related modal split describes the percentage distribution of all routes travelled by hamburgers in the traffic modes ‘Motorised individual transport (MIV)’, ‘Public passenger transport (ÖPV)’, ‘Bicycle transport’ and ‘Foot transport’. The dataset contains the route-related modal split for Hamburg for 2017 in accordance with the household survey ‘Mobility in Germany (MiD) 2017’ (https://www.hamburg.de/bvm/mid-hamburg). The evaluation was carried out here for the seven districts and seven city regions. The differentiation by city regions was carried out for the MiD study in order to better reflect the spatial and socio-economic differences, and thus ultimately also the mobility requirements, in the city than in a differentiation by district.
