Accommodation for people in social difficulty
Description
Adult and family care institutions in
social hardship offer 101 000 places of accommodation and
accompanied housing, end of 2012, according to the first results
Establishments and Services (ES) Survey Social Difficulty
of 2012. More than four places out of ten are in
residential and social rehabilitation centres (CHRS),
and one in four in devices for applicants
asylum and refugees. Ile-de-France represents
Nearly a quarter.
From 2008 to 2012, the housing stock continues to increase
(+18%). This increase reflects the increase in the number of
relay houses (+128 %), accompanied housing arrangements
successive reforms since 2007 have sought to promote.
It is also explained by the development of places in the
other more specialised reception centres, such as
emergency accommodation, under the pressure of demand.
The occupancy rate of accommodation places is increasing.
to reach 96% by the end of 2012. Reception in the schemes
for asylum seekers and refugees is saturated.
The number of integration places, which has been declining since 2008,
represents 36% of the total reception stock. Accommodation
specialised (asylum application, mother-child reception) totals 30%
and the urgency, on the rise, 16%. Accompanied accommodation takes off,
reaching 11% of the total number of places.
By the end of 2012, nearly 20% of admissions to CHRS had passed.
