CarbonDB - open database on the energy and carbon impact of activities
Description
CarbonDB is a collaborative open database of Life Cycle Assessment (of activities, products, services) focused on climate and energy impacts. It is also an open-source consultation tool for this data.
Led by the startup My C-Sense, this project is the result of research in collaboration with the LIRIS computer laboratory of the University of Lyon. The tool is equipped with graphical interfaces that aim to make as intelligible as possible the interdependence model between activities (which underpins the calculation of indirect impacts — indirect greenhouse gas emissions and ‘grey’ energy).
The tool is entirely in English.
