Bicycle paths (OpenStreetMap)
Description
This file shows the location of the cycle paths in the municipality of Montpellier and some greenways common to other cities in the agglomeration of Montpellier. ATTENTION: This dataset exists in two separate sources. A dataset from the City of Montpellier (VilleMTP_AggloMTP_PistesCyclables) and a dataset from OpenStreetMap (OSM_AggloMTP_PistesCyclables).
This is the OpenStreetMap file: OSM_AggloMTP_Cyclable tracks.
This dataset is available in two ways. A global file, in the form of a single geographical layer, containing all the tracks marked with the OSM highway=cycle tag. Another file composed of several geographical layers containing several OSM tags: cycleway=opposite , cycleway=shared , cycleway=shared_busway .

Note: the publication of OpenStreetMap data is done on an experimental basis. This data is not an institutional data from the city services, it is a citizen data extracted from OpenStreetMap. As a reminder, this is not business data, in fact the repository used for collection and storage is not the responsibility of the city, but OpenStreetMap. This also implies that the data made available are not exhaustive, there may be missing elements. You are then free to commit yourself or not to make these bases as complete as possible. Finally, the data re-use licence is not the same as that which frames the data of the City of Montpellier. While the data from the services is under Open License, the data from OpenStreetMap is framed by the ODbL License. They are therefore made available on this portal under their original licence.
