Centrality and commercial linearity in the station sector
Description
These data produced by the Atelier parisien d'urbanisme are disseminated as part of the partnership with the Société du Grand Paris on [the station district observatory] (http://www.societedugrandparis.fr/liste-documents-multimedia/publications?thematic=Observatoire-des-quartiers-de-gares), a diagnostic tool to better characterise the districts of future stations in the heart of the agglomeration and to better integrate them into their environment.
Apur has a ‘database’ of centralities and commercial shelves in Paris and the Petite Couronne departments. These data are part of the reference database, the data base at Apur. These elements have been particularly updated recently on some of the 800-metre perimeters around the station districts of the future Metropolis of Greater Paris. It is the existing centralities and commercial linears in these sectors that are made available in Open Data under ODbL license.
These elements constitute three independent layers of data:
centralities, which are the symbolic representation of the rights-of-way of public spaces experienced as places of urban intensity characterised by a layer of polygons indicating the local, mixed or global character of centrality; commercial shelves, which are the symbolic representation of the presence of shops on the ground floor of buildings characterised by lines based on the built-up front; and the perimeters of 800 meters around the future stations of the Grand Paris.
