Linear issue taken into account in the PPRT of EPC France (ex Nitro Bickford) in Mortagne-sur-Sèvre in Vendée
Description
In general, the issues are people, property, activities, elements of cultural or environmental heritage, threatened by a hazard and likely to be affected or damaged by it. The sensitivity of an issue to a hazard is called "vulnerability".
This object class includes all the issues that were considered in the RPP study. An issue is a dated object whose consideration depends on the object of the RPP and its vulnerability to the hazards studied. A PPR issue can therefore be taken into account (or not) depending on the type(s) of hazard addressed.
These elements constitute the knowledge base of the land cover necessary for the development of the RPP, in the study area or near it, at the date of the analysis of the issues.
The data at stake represent a (frozen and non-exhaustive) photograph of the assets and persons exposed to hazards at the time of the development of the risk prevention plan. This data is not updated after RPP approval. In practice they are no longer used: issues are recalculated as needed with up-to-date data sources.
__Origin__
Geometric modeling depends on the type of the issue and its modeling in the data source or geographical repository from which it originates. An issue is usually represented by a polygon, polyline, or dot with sufficient spatial resolution to appreciate s'it is affected by one or more d'hazards.
