Street and private road access permits

Description

Administrative permits for access to streets, town plans or private roads. The Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment steer external operators in the road area and its vicinity by means of permit decisions and agreements, and issue statements. The Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment also issue transport permits. Some of the processing of permit matters is centralised nationally at a single office, while others are handled at the local ELY Centre. Street and private road access permits are processed in the centralised permit service. The ELY Centres are responsible for maintaining the data. The information is generated in permit decisions and updated on the basis of the decision documents. The target category is versioning. As of 1 January 2021, permit decisions are valid for two years at a time. The information covers roads, streets, walking and cycling paths.
