Description
The areas described were fulfilled in the framework of the 4. Round of the EU noise mapping in 2022, the criteria for a metropolitan area according to §47b BImSchG with a population of over 100,000 and a population density of more than 1,000 inhabitants per square kilometre. Within agglomerations §4(1) of the BImSchV must be mapped in addition to all major noise sources, including other roads, railways and tramways, airfields as well as industry and commercial premises, insofar as these other sources of noise cause significant ambient noise.
