Sites of Seveso establishments in Flanders

Description

Seveso establishments are establishments with large quantities of dangerous substances on their premises which fall within the scope of the Seveso Directive on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances. A distinction is made between high-threshold and low-threshold establishments. This data layer includes the site boundaries of the Seveso facilities in Flanders. In application of the rules on public access to information, anyone who requests it in writing can have access to, explanations about or a copy of a security document. More information on publicity can be found on the website of the Environmental Effects Team – External Security via this link: https://omgeving.vlaanderen.be/en/publicity-external-security . The card layer is updated monthly; the data for Environment Information Flanders (OIV) every quarter. In concrete terms, this means that the publication will take place every second week of January, March, June and September.
