Operational car leasing; price index 2015=100, 2001-2023
Description
This table shows the quarterly price development of services provided by car leasing companies, i.e. operating leases of passenger cars, vans and private cars (private leases). Price developments shall be determined on the basis of model prices.
For the model prices, the monthly amounts due per quarter for leasing various types of cars under a new contract are called up. A distinction is made between prices including and excluding fuel advance. Costs of financing, maintenance, insurance, road tax, and - in the case of maintenance or repair - costs of a replacement vehicle are included. The moment of observation is the middle month of a quarter. These are so-called concluded contracts for which the lease price is fixed in advance. The price indices in this table all have the index reference year 2015. The annual average, the quarterly change and the annual change have been calculated on the basis of unrounded indices.
