Description
The Recommendation defines the structure and methods of recording address information used in domestic and foreign postal consignments and maintained in computerised registers. The Recommendation also provides instructions on the machine-language transmission of address information, the format and printing of the data. The recommendation is intended to be used in domestic and outbound postal traffic and computer systems. Revised on 15 June 2005. (18.8.2011)
