Solid particle emission sources
Description
Surface sources of particulate matter emissions make a significant contribution to exceeding the emission limits of suspended particulate matter PM10. Significant sources of PM10 emission load are (among other things) technological operations of the surface type, such as soil deposits, quarries and other mining areas, concrete and mortar plants, packaging plants, bulk storages, etc. The mapping of these sources was carried out by ATEM — Department of Environmental Models s.r.o. in 2012-2014 within the framework of the project of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic No. TA02020663 “Mapping and Pasporting of Unrecorded Area-based Sources of Solid Particle Emissions”. In total, about 1200 sources were captured, which are shown on this map layer. In addition to localisation, the typology and basic data of its operation are given in the attribute table for each source. More detailed information and results of field surveys can be found in passports accessible for public authorities on the processor’s website (clicking on the map element).
