Representation of the seabed reliefs of the reef areas of the Eparses Islands — Project Piot and IoT
Description
This representation of the reliefs of the backgrounds comes from the combination of the MNT Bathymetric Lidar Litto 3D of the islands of Europa (project Piot), Tromelin, Bassas de India, Glorieuses, Juan de Nova, Geyser and Zelee (IoT project) with an extrapolation of slopes (grey levels) to the resolution of the image. It generates a layer of information revealing many details of the geomorphology of reefs.
The Lidar MNT produced as part of Litto3D® was acquired in 2009-2010 (high altitude images).
The PIoT project is co-financed by the Iles Éparses Consortium and the French Southern and Antartical Lands.
The Piot project is co-financed by the Iles Éparses Consortium2017-2020, Ifremer (carrier) and its partners (CNRS-LIRMM, Kelonia and CEDTM).
