Corine Land Cover 2000 (ATOM)

Description

Pre-prepared dataset that contains files (CLC2000_CZ, and CHA2000_CZ) in SHP format archived to ZIP format. The data are available in the INSPIRE National Geoportal e-shop. Database with classification of surface cover in the Czech Republic in 2000. Corine Land Cover 2000 (CLC2000_CZ) is an update of the 1990 Land Cover database. There are 28 land cover categories registered in the Czech Republic out of 44 categories, which includes the CLC2000 database. These classes are organised in a hierarchical structure of three levels, at the highest level they are divided into five groups (urbanised areas, agricultural areas, forests and semi-natural areas, humid areas, water areas). The size of the smallest mapping unit for CLC 2000 polygons was set at 25 ha. The change database CLC2000-Changes (CHA2000_CZ) was derived from the CLC1990 database by visual comparison of raster data from 1990 and 2000. Identifies areas with different land cover in the CLC90 and CLC2000 databases. All changes meeting the mapping criteria were recorded (area > 5 ha, border shift > 100 m).
