Corine Land Cover 2006 (ATOM)
Description
Pre-prepared dataset that contains files (CLC06_CZ and CHA06_CZ) in SHP format archived to ZIP format. The data are available in the INSPIRE National Geoportal e-shop. The database with the classification of surface cover in the Czech Republic in 2006 was established within the framework of the GMES Fast Track Service project, launched by the European Environment Agency (EEA). In the Czech Republic, the project was co-financed by the Ministry of the Environment. The CLC2006 database (CLC06_CZ) was interpreted from the updated CLC2000 database. The size of the smallest mapping unit for CLC2006 polygons was set at 25 ha. More on the description of the processing methodology in Büttner, G., Kosztra, B. 2007. The CLC2006-Changes Change Database (CHA06_CZ) was derived from the CLC2000 database by visual comparison of raster data from 2000 and 2006.
