Description
This dataset contains a list of remarkable monuments and tombs of personalities of the Père-Lachaise Cemetery.
For each entry, we find the very precise geographical position of the monument or tomb, from the OpenStreetMap project, the biographical data of the cemetery residents, from Wikipedia, as well as the photographic data from Wikimedia Commons.
The database was built using Wikidata, a semantic web tool of the Wikimedia Foundation. It links data from Wikipedia, Wikimedia and OpenStreetMap.
