Infrared aerial images — Digital CIR orthophotos of the city of Braunschweig from the 2011 flight
Description
In a digital flight on 8 March 2011, hundreds of individual images were taken vertically from an aircraft. The high-resolution images with 10 cm of ground pixels were digitally equalised and precisely assembled using GPS data. Parallel to the images in real colors (RGB), so-called false color or infrared images (CIR) were taken simultaneously via special infrared channels of the aerial camera during the flight.
