In 2013, there were nearly 140,000 active rehabilitation professionals under the age of 65 in France. Their number has risen sharply since the end of the 1990s, driven by the continuous increase in the number of people enrolled in training in France and by an increase in the number of practitioners who have graduated abroad and come to settle in France.
