Million wins in Finland (updated 29.8.2018)
The lottery draw has based on Veikkaus’ published open data (on its website and interface) a review (1971-2018 August) on the common factors of the lottery’s million wins. As a result of the review, we see:
— How many million wins have been won in a traditional lottery organised by Veikkaus (Saturday Draw)
— How the lottery’s million wins have evolved over the years (in 1971-2018 August)
— What have been the most popular numbers on the multi-million winning rows of lotteries
## To be considered
__Lotto has changed over time._
— The number of numbers has changed over time, this is reflected in the number of “most fortunate numbers”
— For example, the number 40 was added to the draw in 2016 – this also affects the number of main wins
__From Morocco to Euro__
— The review uses the euro-denominated winnings that Veikkaus offers as open data
— The multiplication factor of 168187 has been used in the review, while a million wins have been reversed for winnings denominated in FIM. That is, between 1971 and 2001, a profit of EUR 168187 has been marked as a million win.
